About プロフィール
As the publisher of MASSAGE MAGAZINE, he explores the grassroots creative movements emerging from the intersection of technology and visual culture. Shono is the long-term lead editor of the annual Japanese Motion Graphic Creators (Eizo Sakka 100) and the editor of The New Creator Economy (2022). His recent curatorial projects, such as Proof of X and Patterns of Entanglement, investigate blockchain and AI as new artistic media.
1990年代よりインディペンデント・マガジンの制作に携わり、現在はオンラインメディア『MASSAGE MAGAZINE』の発行人として、インターネットが生み出す新たな文化を観測・発信。年鑑『映像作家100人』の編集長を15年以上にわたり務めるほか、書籍『THE NEW CREATOR ECONOMY』（2022年）のリードエディターを担当。近年は「Proof of X」や「もつれのパターン」などの展覧会キュレーションを通じ、ブロックチェーンやAIを新たな表現のメディウムとして捉え直す、メディア・エコロジーの探究を続けています。
